Noxubee Refuge Day
Join us at Noxubee Wildlife Refuge for this annual event which offers variety of fun activities.
Last year's activities included archery, axe throwing, canoeing, bb-gun shooting, target practice, grilled hotdogs, and other fun! This is a family-friendly event, and pets are also allowed.
Admission is FREE.
We'll meet out front of the visitor center at 11am. Feel free to pack a lunch or snack.

ReplyDeleteThe address is 2970 Bluff Lake Road, Brooksville, MS 39759. I'd check mapquest or GPS if I were you. I usually take Oktoc Road straight out to the Refuge. But I'm coming in from downtown Starkville, so there's probably a much faster way from where you are.
DeleteI got the email about finding a place to hang out for lunch since Noxubee is closed. Normally, I would be able to make it, but wonder of wonders, it seems like I've managed to find myself a lunch date on Saturday. If she cancels, then I'm in for eating out with y'all wherever you settle on. I'd really like to get to know your other friends. "Hi Jacqui!"
ReplyDeleteOk, you have my number right? Hope you have a fun day, but text me if you end up being free for whatever reason. Me and Jacqui are considering going up to a trail at Noxubee or going to out to lunch. We're just going to pretty much decide as we go depending on crowds in town.
